What are qualified appointments?
You can decide for yourself what constitutes a qualified meeting in your specific place of business, but we generally cover the following criteria:
- Scheduling an appointment with someone in the DMU (Decision Making Unit)
- Acquiring information about the budget and who is responsible for it
- Gleaning information about the timeframe in which the potential customer plans to buy
- Determining whether the potential client’s needs meet your own
- Researching any competitors that your potential customer might have an eye on
